Christmas and the Baby Bump

Well I survived the holiday hours at work, hallelujah! Now I just have to get through New Year's, if I don't have a baby before then. Last Wednesday I had my weekly and I have thinned 50% and dilated to a 2. The doctor went into labor mode explaining what all I should do if certain things happen. She said he is really, really low so delivery will be super quick so to not mess around and get to the hospital if my water breaks or I am having contractions. The doctor said I could possibly have him this week! It would be great if it were before the new year, but anytime would be nice. She said that due to me working long hours on my feet, it has sped things along. She said he is healthy and measuring around 6.5lbs. His heartbeat is still at 137bpm. He still hurts sometimes with his movements and he gets hiccups just like his sister, all the time. If I were to have him this week he probably would be smaller than Andi since I am 2 weeks ahead of when I had her. I am almost 38 weeks. The pic is me at 36 weeks.  I will take one right before he comes.

There is a pool going at work and people are actually betting money as to when he will be here. There were a lot of bets I would have him today. It is still a little early, but I don't think it is going to happen.

I have been pulling baby stuff out of closets, getting everything ready for his arrival. Little miss clung onto her bouncer that she used as a baby and gets to bouncing in it really fast. She will carry it around the house. She loves it.

Here are some recent pics of her being ornery and beautiful!

She loves her boots Aunt Christie got her. They are a bit big but she wears them proudly.
Grandma Barbara got her a big, fluffy horse named Pinky. She loves it!

And of course she gets her ornery side from her father!

Onto Christmas! It was a good 4 Christmases. We finished our last one yesterday. Andi got into the opening of presents and thought every present was going to be a baby. I bought her a newborn baby that looks and weighs like a real one. She had to take its clothes off immediately. She is obsessed with babies both fake and real. We have lots of babies at our house, Matt has 4 in his truck and then she has plenty at each of the grandparents. She is baby poor. Kami and Mali were at Rick and Michelle's for X-mas. Andi loves Mali so much. She is so gentle with her and would sing rock-bye baby to her. She paid more attention to Mali than Kami who is more her age. She is definitely going to be a great big sister.

She got a kitchen from us and she really likes it a lot. She got one from Mawmaw too. She also got a bouncing horse which she was afraid of but she should warm up to it. Matt was trying to get her to get on it by trying it out. She just laughed at him.

I thought her shirt was fitting since she still thinks she is a dog.

The photos you will see, starts at Matt's mom's, our house, my parents, then Matt's dad's.  You will notice at my parent's she starts out clothed then down to her undies, then naked, then back to her undies. It is hard keeping clothes on her and when she uses the potty she has to have them all off. She loves to be naked and I just let her run but she likes to be naked wherever she goes. Hopefully she will outgrow it before preschool.

We don't have anymore room for toys. We literally need another house just for her stuff. When we build on we have decided to add a playroom since next year we will have boy toys too!

Andi enjoyed being Santa by handing out presents. She did a really good job!
We didn't attempt to see Santa this year. I didn't want to traumatize her again since last year we couldn't even get near him. Hopefully next year will be ok with it and we can listen to what she tells him she wants.

She plays with her butt crack a lot! I don't know why. She just happened to put her hand in her pants right when I snapped the photo.

Her favorite present from pop and gran's was the Kurio. Now she doesn't hassle me for my phone since she has her own device to play games and listen to music. Thank you!

We all had a really good Christmas and enjoyed everything we got. The best part was watching Andi get excited about everything. We love her so much and can't believe how she has grown into her own little person with an attitude. Now we get to relive it all over with Ben. I am so ready to meet him as well as the family!!!!

Andi had her 2yr. check-up and she is right at 26lbs and 37in. tall. She is in the 50th percent for height and 30th for weight. She is stout but petite which doesn't make sense, but that is as best as I can describe her. She is very strong and has muscular legs and arms, a solid foundation but small features. The pediatrician wasn't too happy about her not drinking milk. She will not drink it for me only for Mawmaw. We have tried chocolate, strawberry, every kind of flavoring but apparently it isn't as good as Mawmaw's. She takes a vitamin with added Vitamin D and she gets all the calcium from as much cheese as she eats. The child loves cheese and eats 6 or more slices a day. Luckily she doesn't get constipated from it. Her next appointment is her 3 year check-up.

I had to end with these pics. She and I both liked to run around naked a lot with a purse. My family will get a kick out of this because it is all too familiar!

Hopefully the next time I am on here, he will have arrived!
